I had the pleasure of photographing some early moments of beautiful young Marley May and her parents not long after arriving home from the hospital.
After receiving the final images, the conversation quickly turned into "we must use some of these lovely shots as part of a design for a birth announcement / thank you card".
I designed a concept which was approved on its 1st viewing and then organised printing of the cards.

During the month of August 2010 Wallpaper Magazine ran a special 'The Handmade Issue' where by each and every subscriber got the opportunity to design their own front cover of the magazine.
Via a creative agency I was involved in the technical prepress know how of setting up the huge database containing over 30,000 images and postal records and solving any incorrect artwork issues along the way.
This project was a huge success for Wallpaper magazine.

For this issue of the Guardian magazine I was requested to make a composite image from 7 different photographs. This would intal of 6 model shots and one of the background.
Each model image required cutting out and matching the overall tones so they all appear to be of the same image. Once combined onto the background image shadows had to be cast for realism behind each model.
The final image is adjusted for colour, proofed to the client and once approved the image is dropped into the line work file (InDesign) with the article text and proofed as a whole, on approval the file is sent to print.

The neonatal ward at Kings College Hospital were in need of sone signs to go at the foot of each of the special care unit incubators to alert each nurse or doctor whether or not that child was wearing his or hers own cloths, or if they were clothed in hospital supplied garments, to avoid confusion.
The end result was a huge success and meant so much to the ward staff and parents of the children in those wards.
